Hi to you all.
I'm still checking foxyroxy from time to time, but not much is happening here, so probably Brenton is occupied with other tasks.

Lifes taken a few twists and turns here for me however still checking in when I can............
Missing the banter in here. Hopefully this will eventually get back ontrack and continue where we left off.

Hope you are all doing okay in your new ventures as we are also doing. Seems 2013 is a year for huge changes. Some wanted some unexpected.

Hi kazza,
Good to see you around. I still check this forum out from time to time, and hope that all is well for you.

Hopefully Brenton is OK, and at some time he will have some sparetime to continue with foxyroxylinux.

Hi, everyone :)

I have news from Brenton. He is OK and very busy the last months with his new job and his moving in another town.
In a few more weeks the things should get back to normal and he will be back on this project ;)

Hi Toni.

Thanks that is good news.
I must admit that I was a bit worried as time went and there was no news from Brenton.
Anything could have happened and even though we don't know each other personally we still have some sort of connection - but good to know that he is OK.

Hi Folks,

After an incredibly long hiatus, I finally a proper internet connection (that I can use freely).
I am incredibly sorry that I haven't been able to keep in touch over the last 4 or 5 months.

We are almost settled into our new place.

I now have an Internet connection. It is half the speed of my old link, but it does work, and is better that nothing.

As Interstate removalists charge a fortune, we had to throw-out a lot of stuff when moving, amongst which was my desk and pretty much all of my office furniture.

Yesterday, was spent with a heap of flat-pack boxes and an Allen key, which means I now have my new desk setup along, with the basics of my office.
So far, it is really just my 3 main machines and the FoxyRoxy machine.
Quite a few things are still in boxes, and that will take another week or two to sort-out.
It has been so long since I've touched anything and it was packed, I'm not sure what is in what box.

I hope to fire-up FoxyRoxy mid-week and do a bit of a review and try to work out where things are at, what to do next etc.

I've seen that Debian have now released Wheezy as the new "stable".
Has anyone looked at it?
Does anyone know what the memory footprint and system resource overhead is like compared to Squeeze?

Cheers, Brenton

Hi, Brenton :)
Nice to chat with you here again. Glad to read everything is ok with you.
New stable standard image is 538 Mb. You can see it here:

I will check out this forum regular now.
